In response to Apple’s ongoing revamping spell of its iPod line-up, Microsoft has come up with all new refreshed series of its Zune media players. Now, Zune users would be able to mark the songs they listen on

the built-in FM radio of device, and subsequently purchase it, as soon as they reach any Wi-Fi hotspot. HTC today introduced their latest handset, the HTC Touch HD, a multimedia handset running Microsoft’s newest Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. Featuring a 3.8-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) touchscreen, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and a standard 3.5mm audio jack, the Touch HD makes a great entertainment device.

Apple is recalling USB power adapters that shipped as part of the iPhone 3G package in the U.S., Japan, Canada, Mexico, and numerous Latin American countries. Apple customers who purchased the phone can exchange the adapter via web order or simply by visiting Apple stores beginning October 10. Apple today indicated a design flaw in its “ultracompact” USB power adapters supplied with the iPhone 3G or as a standalone accessory, which can cause the prongs to break off and remain in the power outlet, creating the risk of electric shock. The company said that it has received reports of “detached” prongs but no injuries.

Just like its biggest competitor, the Honda Fit, this is the second year for the Toyota Yaris to be sold in the U.S. Introduced in Europe in 1999, it finally appeared on American soil for the same reason so many other fuel-sipping subcompacts did: The rising cost at the gas pumps.
